Before MacWorld started, I had some time to see the city, which included the requisite trolley ride and visit to Alcatraz. As you can see, I even met up with my buddy, the Forerunner 305. Before long, all you Mac users will be able to take advantage of MotionBased.com to track your workouts.
I used the Garmin Savers Guide to get a discount into Madame Tusseaud’s Wax Museum, and guess who I met? The Chairman of the Board himself! I queued up my favorite Ol’ Blue Eyes tune on my built in MP3 playerand almost felt like I was in the Rat Pack, baby.
I spent all night cavorting on the Strip, and now it’s 4 a.m. Thankfully however, according to my World Travel Clock, it’s only one in the afternoon in Samoa, so I keep pushing onward. Always knowing the time anywhere in the world sure beats the heck out of relying on this anyhow. By the way, I had to use my navigation function to lead me to the nearest ATM… it seems as though I’m running low after a run-in at the craps table.
I’m wheels down in Sin City, baby! Using my navigation functions to get to my hotel, I passed by this world-famous sign. As I was admiring this symbol of neon excess, I met a group of young folks from Orange County -- and as you can see, we hit it off immediately.
It's probably because I’ve got complete pre-loaded maps of the entire United States and Canada (and I’m available in a European version as well, so finding myself is easy -- anywhere I travel). And not only do I give you turn-by-turn directions, but thanks to my text-to-speech talents, I call out the street names… try asking a paper map to do that!
