With more than 130,000 people visiting CES, traffic is invariably a mess. Leaving the convention center, I fired up my optional GTM 11 traffic antenna, which got me to where I was going with a minimum amount of hassle. Provided your trip doesn’t START in the middle of a traffic jam, the GTM 11 can automatically direct you around traffic and construction tie-ups before you get stuck, by using real-time traffic data sent over the FM airwaves. I process that data and figure out how to get you out of gridlock and back on your way.

A Dam Amazing Day Trip…
Since the CES show doesn’t start until tomorrow, I had some free time to check out some sites around Las Vegas… my Garmin Travel Guide suggested that I see the Hoover Dam… all 726.4 feet and 4,360,000 cubic yards of it. That’s the equivalent of 221.4 meters and 3,330,000 metric tons – thanks to my measurement converter – for those of you keeping score at home.
Traffic was backed up near the dam, thanks to construction... but I knew ahead of time, since I was plugged in to Garmin's GTM 11 traffic receiver. It lets me know where traffic jams, accidents, construction, and other delays are... and I can adjust my route to get to my destination faster.
